Voyager 1 Crossed the influence of SUN

At last the first human-made object reached the interstellar space.... Voyager 1 is going far away from us and crossed the influence of SUN and continuing its mission after 35 years of its launch.... Great jump by NASA...

Check this link to know about the positions of Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 with distance from Earth:

The 36-year-old probe is about 12 billion miles (19 billion km) from our sun. New and unexpected data indicate Voyager 1 has been traveling for about one year through plasma, or ionized gas, present in the space between stars- Reported Officially by NASA []

NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft was launched in September 1977 and flew by Jupiter and Saturn before continuing on toward interstellar space. NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft also flew by Jupiter and Saturn and went on to explore Uranus and Neptune. It is still the only spacecraft to have visited those outer planets.
